The economics behind how firms invest and finance themselves, capital structure choices, and how theory applies to real problems.
How financing choices change a firm's value is the heart of BUSI 408. We work through it until the logic is obvious.
The course asks where models work and where they don't. We practice explaining both sides clearly.
A C or better keeps the consulting and real estate tracks open. We make sure you're well clear of the line.
Send me what you're stuck on: a problem set, slides, your last midterm, a practice exam, last week's quiz.
You walk me through a problem out loud. It usually takes a few minutes to hear where the reasoning goes sideways. We fix that piece and rebuild from there, so you know why each step works.
The real test: a fresh problem with new numbers and different wording, the way a midterm would ask it, and you solve it yourself. I don't complete assignments or hand over answers. You leave able to do the work.

Yes. A few sessions on present value and valuation give you a real head start.
Yes. Send me the syllabus and we'll start from there.
Tutoring on concepts and practice problems is generally fine, but policies on graded work vary by course. I don't complete graded assignments. Check your syllabus's collaboration policy, and if you're unsure, ask your professor.
Tell me your course and what isn’t clicking. I’ll tell you honestly whether I can help.
