Bring your slides, problem sets, and your last midterm. We work from your actual course.
Value maximization, mathematics of finance, valuation of securities, capital investment evaluation, and estimating required rates of return.
Microeconomic theory applied to corporate decisions: demand, costs, pricing, market structure, and game theory.
A grade below C in FIN 20150 closes the finance major. We make sure you're well clear of it.
Estimating the right discount rate is where the course gets most technical. We build it step by step.
The course is quantitative from day one. We make the formulas feel like tools, not memorization.
Send me what you're stuck on: a problem set, slides, your last midterm, a practice exam, last week's quiz.
You walk me through a problem out loud. It usually takes a few minutes to hear where the reasoning goes sideways. We fix that piece and rebuild from there, so you know why each step works.
The real test: a fresh problem with new numbers and different wording, the way a midterm would ask it, and you solve it yourself. I don't complete assignments or hand over answers. You leave able to do the work.

Yes. Time value of money beforehand makes the first exam far less stressful.
Yes, especially the pricing and cost topics that connect to finance.
Tutoring on concepts and practice problems is generally fine, but policies on graded work vary by course. I don't complete graded assignments. Check your syllabus's collaboration policy, and if you're unsure, ask your professor.
Tell me your course and what isn’t clicking. I’ll tell you honestly whether I can help.
