Finance often gets squeezed into a short unit or skipped. Students feel it later in college economics and business classes.
Massachusetts doesn't require a personal finance course to graduate, so plenty of strong students leave high school without ever learning how interest, credit, or investing work. Families here tend to fix that before college, not after.

The newest AP course, with the first exam in May 2027. I've mapped all 5 units and 31 topics and built 940 practice questions.
Students home from BC, BU, and colleges across the country often bring their hardest class with them. Winter break and summer are the best time to fix corporate finance before the next exam, and I teach it at the level their course expects.
Students who never took finance meet it for the first time in a college course that moves fast. A few sessions beforehand make a real difference.
Between classes, sports, and activities, days are full. Zoom sessions fit into evenings and weekends.
Growth over time is the idea students underestimate most. Once they see the math, saving and investing questions get much easier.
Parents usually book, and your student joins on Zoom from Wellesley, Weston, Newton, or a boarding school anywhere in New England. Send me the course and what's giving your student trouble, and I'll tell you honestly whether I can help.

You walk me through a problem out loud. It usually takes a few minutes to hear where the reasoning goes sideways. We fix that piece and rebuild from there, so you know why each step works.
The real test: a fresh problem with new numbers and different wording, the way a midterm would ask it, and you solve it yourself. I don't complete assignments or hand over answers. You leave able to do the work.

No. I work from the teacher's materials and never complete graded work, so sessions support the class instead of replacing it.
Tutoring on concepts and practice problems is generally fine, but policies on graded work vary by course. I don't complete graded assignments. Check your syllabus's collaboration policy, and if you're unsure, ask your professor.
Tell me your course and what isn’t clicking. I’ll tell you honestly whether I can help.
