Where students get stuck.
The written recommendation
A right number with a weak argument gets partial credit. We practice moving from analysis to a clear recommendation, in the order a grader expects to read it.
Reading a company's structure
Debt, equity, and the mix between them tell a story. We practice reading that story from the statements, then testing what changes if the mix changes.
Everything from BUSI 320, again
BUSI 460 assumes the foundations are solid. If valuation or cost of capital is shaky, we repair it first so the advanced work has something to stand on.
I took this course
I earned an A in Advanced Financial Management at Liberty and graduated summa cum laude in finance. I then tutored Liberty students in corporate finance for three years. I don't predict exams, but I know how to structure the analysis and the written recommendation this course rewards.
