ACG 2021 and junior standing or higher, or ACG 2021 and ECO 2023 and sophomore standing. Accounting comes first either way.
A minimum grade of B in FIN 3403 is required to register for the required finance major courses. If you are aiming at the finance major, that makes the course a checkpoint rather than a box to tick.
With a B on the line, small arithmetic slips matter. The time value of money guide is where most lost points start, and the NPV calculator lets you check your own answers against a clean setup.

More credit hours means more material per week. Falling behind by two lectures is easy and hard to recover from alone, so we use sessions to catch up on the exact topic you missed.
Bond and stock pricing look like separate formulas but rest on the same idea: discount future cash. Once that clicks, the later topics on risk and capital budgeting come easier.
FIN 3403 is part of the business core at UF, so it shows up in non-finance plans too, but the B requirement matters mostly to students aiming at the finance major. Check your own degree audit for how the course applies to you.
Send me what you're stuck on: a problem set, slides, your last midterm, a practice exam, last week's quiz.
You walk me through a problem out loud. It usually takes a few minutes to hear where the reasoning goes sideways. We fix that piece and rebuild from there, so you know why each step works.
The real test: a fresh problem with new numbers and different wording, the way a midterm would ask it, and you solve it yourself. I don't complete assignments or hand over answers. You leave able to do the work.

Soon after the term starts. With a B as the bar for the finance major, you want to know after exam one, not after exam three, where you stand.
Tutoring on concepts and practice problems is generally fine, but policies on graded work vary by course. I don't complete graded assignments. Check your syllabus's collaboration policy, and if you're unsure, ask your professor.
Tell me your course and what isn’t clicking. I’ll tell you honestly whether I can help.
